Amy Jill Dickinson is the granddaughter of Frank Arvid Cederwall (b. 1924) and Shirley Louise LaPratt (b. 1930). She is also the ninth great granddaughter of William Wilcoxson (1610-1652) who emigrated to the British American Colonies in 1635.
