Preserving AA and Al-Anon Anonymity
Because of my work in the field of substance abuse, I have been involved with people in both AA and Al-Anon; people who deserve to have their anonymity respected.
Not Outing Lesbians/Gay Men
I have hidden the identity of lesbians and gay men who were—or are not now—open about their sexuality.
Student Issues
I have deleted identifying information about students.
Privacy Issues
Certain references that would embarrass living people or would be inappropriate for a professor to share with his students have been deleted.
Generally, I do not maintain the same levels of privacy for people who are deceased.
