August 11, 1926.

Dear Lillian:--

Maybe you think I am never going to answer your letter, I sure am. Lillian please forgive me for not answering sooner. I have been very busy this last week, going to church twice a day and putting up peaches, so therefore I have been very busy.

Lillian, I sure do hope your mother is well by now, all of the folks here said to give her their love and hopes that one will soon be well.

Lillian, I and all the folks, says they hope to see you in less than a week not over two, can we Lillian? Really want to see you Lillian so please do not let something or anything knock you out of your trip down here, and when you come, come to stay a long time with me as we can find plenty of places to go and things to do.

Maybe you would like to hear something about the time I had on camp. At eight bells, those who were qualified swimmers could go swimming, then breakfast, at nine-thirty inspection of the huts, then classes, nature study and handicraft, again swimming for all, dinner one-half hour of dancing, singing or anything then rest hour till three-thirty, again swimming or show bath, at six supper after supper we could do what we like, bed at nine-thirty sharp.

The day sure does pass fast up there.

Lillian, I will close hoping to hear from you real soon.

Till we meet, always your friend,

Lillian
