Dearest Lillian,

I know you think I had really forgotten you, but far from it. You know last year when your school <>topel closed. I knew you were staying at the school. I sure am glad you broke your New Year resolution to write me.

Lillian I really envay you for you have snow to play in and I have not even one single speck let alone play in it.

To-day is just like a summer day, all of us are going around in our Summer clothes. Just as we would if wer were in

Florida.

Lillian I am sending you a side view of our new home. One cannot tell so much of it flom from a side view, but when I make a from view of it I will send you one.

Do you think you will go to Florida next Winter? Daddy said if every thing went right we would all go and stay two or three months.

Where do you live when you are at home? How is Hellen & Mr & Mrs Gleasner? Tell them to write us if they find time. If they are like me they do not have much time for I am Chief cook. & bottle-washer. at home.

Lillian I know by now you are a grand Saxaphone tooter. I know you can play fine. I would love to play one but I took up piano and voice.

This afternoon I am going to get “All Alone”. Sheet music for we hear it every night over the Radio some where.

Lillian I will have to close for I have to get dress to go up town.

Hopeing to hear from you soon.

Your friend.

Lillian Burgess.
