Dear Lillian—
It is now about 11:15, my bed time but I have to write you a short letter before I go to slumberland.
I noticed while I was out on my daily walk to day that Olivet was coming over here Friday nite to play Western State Normal and get beat up right. If you come, and I hope you will, be sure to see me. I will be to the game in all my glory and glad rags as, I think, the old boy will play. And of course the old woman would have to be there to see him plan and break her voice on the game. Don’t take the last part of this to serious. But I do hope that you and your dear little Springelt will come. Bring Alice and leave Larry or bring Larry and leave Alice. I want one more chance at that guy. Don’t worry I won’t hurt your man!
Ain’t this letter the berries in ribbons? But its just the way I fell I got called on in Psy class to day and didn’t know a blame thing. I won’t feel so bad about it if the old man wan’t in the class. Well say if your not sick of this, I am. Be sure to come Friday nite to see that wonderful game. I’ve got oceans and seas to tell you.
Love to all
Evelyn
