Dearest Lillian,
Honestly, I intended to write you the first week about staying here with me the Sat. night of this game, but couldn’t possibly see my way to it. Then, after I got your note, I intended to answer it, but couldn’t seem to get that either. Why didn’t you come back over here after the game? I expected you, kind-a. I’m ever so much obliged for your invitation but I’m going home this week-end—going to be a big dance there Friday night. It will be my 2nd trip home and my folks are kind of thinking it’s queer that I don’t come home, I guess.
I’m glad you’re having such a swell time—and will have to look into the matter myself later on. I’m having a wonderful time myself but it’s all in such a rush that I don’t remember what I’m doing half the time.
Maybe you heard I was pledged into the Thermia Sorority—josh, I’m glad.
I’m taking Spanish, French II, English Comp., and Rhetoric, Medieval History and a one-hour course in Hygiene. Pretty snappy course—have all mornings vacant from 9 on, except when I have gym and I don’t consider that work.
But you have me skinned to death on fellows—I’ve met about 4 since I’ve been here, but I’m having a good time without ‘em.
I have the rest of this hour to study 3 subjects so I can go swimming so a-men.
Hope to see you sometime soon, are you in Lansing every Sat. Evening?
Lovingly
Pauline
Got a cute little thing to recite to you.
