Dear Lillian,
I believe I have just time enough to answer your letter before going to meet the 2:30 car. I was certainly glad to hear from you. The girls have been so nice about writing to me. I don’t know what I’d do without them.
Well what are you doing to keep busy these days? Are you working in the Post Office? Just keeping on attempting to keep cool is sufficient work for these days, I believe.
I’m succeeding in keeping busy. I’m not taking very much work, but just the same they’re keeping me busy. Guess they know how little worked I sign up for.
I suppose you were at the Camp Fire Meeting, so heard my official communication. I wrote Dorothy again today, so you can get my letter from her. I’m anxious to get it settled about the cottage.
I see the Nashville girls quite often. Edna Sebulge and Miss Youngquist and I are in the Summer School Chorus together. I guess they’re all pretty busy.
Lillian, has my “Mentor” magazine been coming? If it has, will you give it to George Deauve? I’ll get them when I come up. I hate to change the addresses now and then again in the Fall.
Well. I must hike to make the car. Write again soon. Remember me to your people.
