Dear Lillian:

Received your letter and it was very interesting because it had all of the news in it. I am going to live in Charlotte when I come home from here. I write to marry C. and she tell me some of the news but not all. She said Miss Springstien Beck Surine and Mr. Harmon were not going to teach next year is that so. I expect to clerk in a store in Charlotte when I come back there. I hear from Leta Shields two or three times a week. She is coming to Charlotte to see me as soon as I get back and you want to come over. I can have all the company I want. How are all of you folk and do the chickens lay any better? Say I had my picture taken Sunday 7 or 8 times I will get them tonight and if they are any good will send you one if you want it.

Sylvia Springell writes to me wr right along. Who does Virgil go with now? Well I guess this is all for this time Write soon

Frenchy

P.S. That is what everyone call me up here so you call me that

Edith
